demo update (first iteration)

teammate of mine was job hunting and one of them would've put him within a mile of my apartment lol, didn't go through though.

also i'm like 99% sure a sixes player went to the same high school i did (don't remember how i know this, think they mentioned it?), never reached out since figured that would be weird

maff and i were probably dumb and dumber double flank scout duo (probably to the chagrin of our combo) but it was very fun to play with him and he has really good dm.

probably has more braincells than me, maff, blur, june combined (adding maff here reduces this total sum tbf)

unironically the carry, smart player and good mechanics on med. also receptive to criticism, just yell at him if you think he's baiting too hard and he'll adjust.

I think there's a not-insignificant number of people who have been banned for cheating in the past that play now (at top level) and nobody thinks they're cheating. Most notable cases off the top of my head for 6s would be kev & nyxi (banned in UGC). I believe yight/circa as well was strongly believed to have cheated at one point because of their proximity to bullet/roxanne/etc, but was never banned because ESEA.

There's also other stuff such as being banned for spy scripts (mostly highlander players, some have played 6s though) in league matches, and of course instances of people cheating in pubs (habib).

Notably though, all the people above were not invite once unbanned, and so I imagine their rise was more believable. I imagine if somebody was unbanned and then immediately played invite, people would complain more.

yeah aiming in ow is insanely hard honestly, instant accel is huge and anorexic female hitboxes make tracking/clicking pretty fucking hard. winston existing doesn't really negate the prior facts.

Also, i think genetics mattering for aiming should be an incredibly cold take, genetics matters for literally everything. many things that are less visible such as VO2max in athletes have huge genetic components (although it is certainly improvable, many people will simply never reach certain highs). reaction time has a huge genetic component (almost surely matters for aiming), fine motor control is also extremely heritable. Saying it's the only thing that matters is probably incredibly copium, but it's definitely still a factor. Idk what his actual stance is since i'd rather not actually look at it but just saying "genetics matters" is very fair.
