Never say you're quitting but take breaks and try dipping your feet in other things, you never want to burn bridges and you can find or make time for just the bits you enjoy from whether its watching, mixing, playing pugs, officials only or playing with a casual team.
As for the team stuff, everyone has run in with people they dont agree with or enjoy playing with, i would just move on and look for another team or if you want complete control of your enjoyment/tf2 environment (and youre willing to put the work in) make your own team! Some of my favorite times from tf2 was from my own team despite it taking a little time and effort.
i haven't wrapped myself in comptf2 since 2015 but i still enjoy keeping up with the scene on forums, watching games and going to lans.
