Is it possible to make a fork of Lawena that's compatible with the current TF2 32bit executable so I can use the latest HLAE update with it?
Clicking the "load more" button on my profile page to see more than the last 15ish demos I played in doesn't seem to work. Is this broken or am I just dumb?
Searching for my alias from the main page also seems not to work? It says Loading... but nothing seems to actually load.
Unlike 6s you can be a bad player on a good team and still have fun in this game mode
would recommend
also every passtime video by tomato tom in particular is straight fire
After 9 years in development I hope it was worth the wait!
ire was always one of the people dedicated to making things happen behind the scenes without any expectation of thanks or support. The infrastructure of this scene runs on the back of people like ire who have a deep love for this game.
When I was actively observing matches for TFTV they consistently made my life much easier by handling the responsibility of coordinating with players for STV and rcon info, and any general communications. Anyone who's done production knows that this is a significant workload to take on, especially if you're also busy setting up all your observer shit for the cast.
Many people here probably don't know who ire was, but it's most likely their actions have directly made your TF2 experience a little better at some point or another because that's just who they were.
Rest In Peace.
Is the sticky det bug still in the game?
this must be the Heavy Update they promised
I'm at 450 hours and counting in this game, I cannot recommend it highly enough, especially playing trios with friends.
It also is constantly getting content updates and the developers have been clear that they intend to support the game long term.
Get over the initial learning curve and I guarantee you'll have a blast.
I could describe why it's so good but it's probably easier to just share a video from one of the game's top players:
any scrim or match in RGL IM 6s where you are the relatively inexperienced team playing the team full of invite HL players playing 6s for fun
if your mental isn't strong enough to adapt to a skilled heavy or a pyro who can reflect every projectile your team morale goes to the bottom of the Mariana Trench and never recovers
this is on the fireside casts stream BTW, I don't think that part got updated

edit: should be fixed by the time anyone reads this
The voogru TF2 community servers
hanging out with the same group of regulars every day who eventually were my introduction to comp
playing Crit-Fail 6s PUGs with people from that community (think like an early pugchamp-style website)
Twiggyhe's insane, I didn't even know you could airshot the ball

Fun fact: You can also direct the ball and use it to explosive jump while grabbing it. This works with demo's pipes too. Expect slamborghini to do this at least once
